- Integrate and follow safety considerations into QA / QC processes during a TA.
- Prevent potential safety incident during a TA.
- Follow and make sure the team adheres to all HSE protocols in liaison with HSE team.
- Experience in developing QA / QC plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) specifically for Turnaround projects.
- Familiar with codes and standards for equipment inspection and fabrication in a petrochemical or refinery TA context.
- Experience in managing welding control during a Turnaround.
- Experience in monitoring WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications under tight TA schedules.
- Experience in controlling material traceability and NDT clearance during a major turnaround.
- Handling non-conformance encountered during a TA and follow up on closure.
- Experience in planning and managing inspection resources (NDT crews, inspectors, third-party agencies) for a TA, without any bottlenecks.
- Experience in reviewing and approving final documentation packages for Mechanical Completion and Handover.
- Skills to balance quality requirements with schedule pressures.
- Manage QA / QC interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Contractors during TA.
- Experience in punch listing and system handover in TA.
- Skills to control quality clearance activities before commissioning.
- Experience in pre-TA planning for critical path activities from a QA / QC perspective.
- Handling disputes or challenges from contractors or site teams over inspection findings
- Build team work and lead the QA / QC team for a turnaround.
- Manage / handle manpower shortages or unexpected scope growth during a TA and to adapt to QA / QC plan.
- Maintain morale and focus of QA / QC team during extended shifts or emergency work.
- Digital & Reporting Competency
- Manage and report in digital reporting tools / software (e.g., welding traceability systems, NDT tracking software, turnover documentation systems).
- Ensure proper reporting and documentation of inspection records under time- constrained TA activities.
- Prepare closure report relating to QA / QC activities not limited to effective utilization of staff, execution strategy and its outcome, meeting TA KPIs relating to QA / QC, NCs, its closures, lessons learnt and recommendations etc.,
- Present the closure report to department heads.

Qualifications
Qualification
Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering
Experience
Minimum 10-15 years within the oil and gas industry.
