To execute accounting-related activities in line with the established internal controls, procedures, guidelines, and accounting standards at the company
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all transactions are recorded appropriately in line with company’s accounting principles and are properly filed with all supporting documents for future refence.
- Ensure timely, accurate and a complete record-keeping of all transactions, including payroll payments
- Provide Units / Departments with requested information regarding vendors / customers transactions and / or any other related aspect
- Prepares periodic reports e.g. aging analyses, accruals calendars, funds position, etc.
- Assists in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures and ensure compliance with them
- Monthly bank reconciliation statements for all banks accounts of the company
- Liaisons with banks on all company related matters
- Coordinates with various Units / Departments in the matters related to accounting of the company transactions.
- Follows up and ensures that the invoicing process is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Assists in responding to audit observations raised by internal and external auditors
- Attend to any other related work as will be assigned from time to time
- Adhere to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with minimum 2 -3years’ experience in Accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
