AWS Solution Architect :

Title : AWS Solution Architect Experience : 9 to 15 Job Type : Full Time Employment Type : Permanent Job Status : Hot Country : Oman City : Muscat

Job Description & Role :

The AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This individual will act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and working closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into scalable and cost-effective AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions for clients, including infrastructure, application architecture, and automation.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members on AWS best practices and solution design.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of AWS solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS technologies and offerings, and continually assess their potential value for clients.

    • Additional Requirements :

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification.

    • Experience and Skills Required :

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS.
  • 15+ years of total IT experience in various cloud solutions and able to suggest to clients.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex cloud infrastructure solutions for clients.
  • Experience leading technical teams and providing guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and how they can be used to build scalable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience of AWS Solutions (Outposts, Cloud Migrations, SysOps, DevOps, Analytics, MLOps).
  • Basic understanding of AWS Well Architected Framework.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for clients and team members.
  • Experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
