QA Testing Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with the project's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Create / Review detailed test plans and schedules, considering various testing phases and types.
• Work with the testing team to design / review test cases and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure that testing activities are carried out according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensure that the testing environment is properly set up and maintained, including required hardware, software, and configurations.
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve environment-related issues.
• Define and implement defect tracking and management processes, including defect logging, tracking, and reporting.
• Generate and communicate test progress reports, including metrics, test coverage, and defect status, to stakeholders.
• Ensure that all testing activities are properly documented, and testing artifacts are organized and accessible.
