Summary

Under the general direction from Alila Hotel and Resorts Policies and Procedure to act on behalf on the Hotel Management to ensure all aspects of the daily operation of spa, fitness, and wellness facilities for Alila Hinu Bay runs smoothly and guests are providing with maximum levels of service and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should possess the expertise and passion to;

  • Oversee the comprehensive operation of spa, fitness, and wellness facilities — including bookings, service quality, team scheduling, facility maintenance, and creating an inviting ambiance.
  • Design and deliver innovative wellness programs such as yoga, meditation, aqua fitness, nutritional workshops, and customized wellness packages.
  • Curate unique, signature wellness experiences that reflect the identity of our resort and resonate with our guest demographics.
  • Provide personalized wellness consultations and orientation sessions to enhance guest engagement.
  • Contribute to work on sales and marketing plans and programs, attend weekly sales and marketing meetings.
  • Enforce Hotel and Spa’s Standard Policy and Procedures and Core Standards
  • Review employees job descriptions and document changes or updates.
  • Conduct quarterly staff reviews and report results to HR and Spa Director.
  • Monitor standard check list are done daily as to SOP.
  • Conduct daily staff briefings, reviewing the previous day’s customer comments and operations points.
  • Coordinate with other departments for promotions and special projects when needed.
  • Assist with journalists and photo shootings. Ensure all branding related comments and collateral material is passed on by communications manager.
  • Responsible for daily basic spa operations accounting procedures
  • Responsible to monitor employee’s rules and regulations
  • Submit monthly operational reports to Spa Director and summary to GM
  • Maintain a month to date sales statistics and activities journal.
  • Plan and execute immersive wellness retreats, themed wellness weekends, and special programs (e.g., mindfulness retreats, detox journeys).
  • Coordinate guest practitioners, visiting experts, and wellness-focused events that enrich the guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 -7 years in a similar role; prior experience in a 5-star hotel is essential;
  • experience in the Middle East and hotel pre-opening is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy is a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand guest needs independently; clear verbal and written communication in English.
  • Capable of conducting personal training sessions and creating membership programs.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask effectively.
