Network Security Engineer

Job Summary :

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security solutions to protect our customer organization's data and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and securing various network devices and solutions, including Fortinet, Paloalto, Juniper Networks, Netscout, Checkpoint, Netskope, Forcepoint, Symantec, and more across all verticals of Application & Network Security Solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, configure, and deploy network security solutions, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and application delivery controllers.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to safeguard sensitive information.
• Maintain and enhance endpoint security solutions to protect devices from threats.
• Administer and secure VMware environments to ensure virtualization security.
• Configure and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions for proactive threat detection and response.
• Manage and secure network devices and solutions from Fortinet, Paloalto, Juniper Networks, Netscout, Checkpoint, Netskope, Forcepoint, Symantec, and others.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network security architectures and strategies.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely resolution and detailed incident reports.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
