Description
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Mechanical Engineer to join our team in OMAN. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, coupled with a passion for sales and customer interaction. This role involves working closely with clients to provide customized mechanical solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Present and demonstrate mechanical products and solutions to potential customers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure technical specifications are met for client projects.
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotations for clients, including technical documentation.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Support clients throughout the sales process and provide after-sales support as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2-4 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales.Strong understanding of mechanical systems and product applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.Minimum 2 years of experience in sales of infrastructure materials.Product range includes : DI pipes & fittings, DI valves, DI / FRP manhole covers, and DI electrical poles & street lighting poles.Valid driving license.Preferably based in Oman with good knowledge of the local market.
