Overview

Entry Level Mason

Profession : Mason

City : Muscat, Oman

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Mason to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones.

Responsibilities

Lay out and measure materials for construction using tools such as levels, plumb lines, and measuring tapes
Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces to be tiled or paved
Cut and shape bricks or blocks using hand or power tools
Set stone or brick in place according to blueprints or plans
Clean excess mortar from finished work and polish surfaces as needed
Repair existing masonry structures by replacing broken bricks or stones and applying new mortar
Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety regulations

Qualifications

High school diploma / GED preferred

Previous experience in masonry is not required but preferred

Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately

Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods of time

Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary

The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
