Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Production Inspector with a strong background in plant operations, process monitoring, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production operations while inspecting and monitoring oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process control, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and inspect oil and gas production operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Operate, monitor, and optimize production systems through DCS and field instrumentation.
Record and analyze production data, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, valves, separators, and storage facilities.
Support start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures in line with operational guidelines.
Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance and control room teams for resolution.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and report near-misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
Assist in training junior operators on DCS operations and production inspection procedures.
Prepare daily reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation for internal and regulatory use.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and operational reliability.

Qualifications & Experience :

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related Engineering field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas production, with at least 2 years in DCS / control room operations.

Strong understanding of production processes, well operations, separation, and storage systems.

Familiarity with HSE standards and regulatory compliance in oil & gas.

Proficiency in DCS / SCADA systems, control loops, and instrumentation.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in field / plant environments.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills :

Certification in process safety or oil & gas operations.

Experience with multiple DCS platforms (Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, etc.).

Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and reliability systems.
