Role Overview :

The Senior Piping Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing piping engineering activities for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes producing design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
• Deputize for the Lead Engineer when required.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery of design documents.
• Guide the preparation and review of plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping layouts.
• Oversee design calculations and piping stress analysis.
• Prepare design basis and project-specific specifications for EPC and other engineering projects.
• Manage material engineering tasks including purchase specifications, requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
• Review vendor documents and drawings post-order placement.
• Conduct site surveys for project execution and bidding.
• Coordinate with internal departments, clients, and inspection agencies.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Document all project-related changes and modifications.
• Participate in project review meetings and estimation activities.
