Provide cost, staff certification, manpower allocation information to Commercial Department as input for proposals as well as preparation of Project Plan on award of a project.Manage and coordinate all manpower deployment, certifications and safety / off-shore training.Maintain contracts with transporters and related logistic providers and suppliers; update contracts with the approval of the concerned authority; and liaise with the service providers for providing transportation and related logistical support of desired quality and timeliness.Oversee actual transportation of equipment, tools and crews to project sites and back, including any change in manpower, exchange of equipment, etc.Oversee and coordinate all documentation, sanction and transactions in matters regarding import of equipment, materials and samples, as well as “export” of such equipment and materials to our branches or project sites in other countries / locations.Oversee and coordinate the issue of permits, change of visa, security pass and such matters with PROs, HR Dept. and some external agencies, in order to facilitate FME and other Fugro employees to work on project sites and travel to other locations.Supervise and transact local purchases with sanction of concerned authority, and negotiate rates with vendors, where called for.Oversee stores management for Dubai.Maintain data and a database regarding employee project allocation, leave, off-shore leave, certifications, technical training and project / location / role related training, etc. on a daily basis and serve as the “owner” of such information, to support Project Managers, Department Managers, Site Supervisors, etc. Sanction leave of drillers.Ensure timesheets of drilling staff are received and recorded regularly, and changes updated in database and related records.Manage employee relations with drilling crews, and also transact changes in their projects or project timings / sQualifications required :
- High school or graduation in any subject. Preferable : Certification in use of MS Office or 2 years prior experience in using Excel and Word.
Skills / experience required to do the job :
- 4-5 years of experience as an Assistant in technical departments, preferably in Operations or Engineering.
- Fluent in English.
