Fixed Asset Accountant

Role Description

This is a 6 months contract role for a Fixed Asset Accountant located on-site in Muscat.

The Fixed Asset Accountant will manage daily tasks involving the recording, tracking, reconciliation and depreciation of fixed assets. Other responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records, posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role involves collaboration with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fixed Assets Management and Accounting
• Experience with Fixed Assets Register
• Proficiency in Finance principles
• Strong Analytical Skills to support financial decision-making
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in similar roles within the GCC region is a plus
