West Work is seeking new team members for our growing firm in Boston, MA. Successful candidates should have interest / focus on low carbon materials and net-zero construction for housing, higher-ed, and civic projects. They can expect to be involved in all aspects of projects, from schematic design through construction administration. Applicants should have the ability and interest in leading projects, either upon employment or within one year of employment.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience working in a professional office
- Professional architectural licensure (or working toward it)
- LEED or Passive House Consultant Certification (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel
- A working knowledge of Sketchup, Rhino, Bluebeam
- Knowledge of building science, sustainable technologies
- Understanding of construction methods, building code, and zoning principles
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
