Job Summary

As a Technical Authority Expert – RAN, you will lead 2nd Level Operations for Radio Access Network (RAN) services. This includes managing service and resource configurations, operations, and maintenance activities to meet predefined SLA performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Fault Management

Handle 2nd Level Incident Management

Troubleshoot Faults and KPIs at 2nd Level

Conduct Preventive Maintenance

Configuration & Optimization

Prepare, test, and implement configuration changes for service activation, restoration, and performance optimization

Deploy software updates and upgrades for RAN nodes

System & Node Operations

Perform system administration tasks

Integrate, expand, and commission RAN nodes

Respond to customer service requests

️ Technical Expertise Required

Ericsson RAN Experience

EVO BSC / APG43L : Commissioning, configuration, SW upgrade, O&M

RBS6000, BB6630, BB6620, AIR 6488 : Commissioning, configuration, upgrade, O&M

Tools : AMOS, MOSHELL, SHM, ENM applications

Huawei RAN Experience

Huawei BSC : Commissioning, configuration, upgrade, O&M

Huawei 2G / 4G / 5G Sites : Commissioning, configuration, upgrade, O&M

Deep Knowledge In

2G, 4G, 5G & 5G SA network architecture, interfaces, protocols, signaling flows

Radio signaling & KPIs

RAN solutions (e.g., Mixed Mode, 5G MIMO)

Quality of Service (QoS) principles

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Experience

5–7 years in telecom operations with deep expertise in 2G, 4G, and 5G access systems

Familiarity with Managed Service telecom operations
