Primary Teacher

Location : Muscat, Oman

Salary Range and Package Details : OMR 700 – 1,150 per month tax-free, housing provided, comprehensive medical insurance, and return flights.

Start Date : January 2026

Required Qualifications :

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ primary teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2)

  • British Curriculum Expertise : Comprehensive understanding of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements and assessment frameworks
  • Primary Education Specialisation : Proven ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across primary year groups
  • Differentiated Instruction : Skills in adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Classroom Management : Strong classroom management techniques suitable for primary-aged students
  • Assessment Practices : Experience in formative and summative assessment, data analysis, and progress tracking
  • Cultural Adaptability : Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in an international, multicultural environment
  • Communication Excellence : Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Technology Integration : Competence in using educational technology to enhance learning outcomes
  • Professional Development : Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with best educational practices
