As the Department Head- Indirect Sales you will be responsible To manage and drive the Indirect channel to achieve company objectives and to manage the channel team toward achieving the company AOP. Ensure identifying high-value leads and key potential partners and develop strategies for converting those connections into productive and profitable relationships.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible of the following :
Strategy
- Develops the overall strategy for the Indirect Sales Channels and Support functions in line with the overall Ooredoo Oman and Group business strategy
- Develops the AOP and associated KPI’s for the Department and drives their delivery
- Directs Strategic and tactical direction on all Sales and customer facing issues, including cross functional initiatives designed to create a "World Class" customer experience and achieve / exceed customer experience metrics
- Set sales objectives and goals across the unit and ensures they are accurately distributed.
- Maximizes the value of the Sales activities and seeks new sales opportunities
- Leads the unit in delivering the annual revenue and profit targets and ensures the appropriate resources are in place to enable success
Indirect Channels
Identify, propose and enrol Certified Dealers who will represent Ooredoo to its customers.Ensure that the Certified Dealer shops are well branded and in compliance with Ooredoo brand guidelines and in coordination with Dealer Support team, ensure channel is well stocked with collaterals for any product / service promotion.Ensure that all Certified Dealers are up to date with regards to product knowledge; promotions and activation process updation to enable them promote the range of products and services.Attend to complaints and leads from distributors and resolve in a timely and effective manner.Monitor dealer management and ensure dealer experience is delivered, initiate dealer events (annual gathering of top dealers) by region in order to reward the top performing dealers and hence guarantee continued dealer support.Monitor Certified Dealers performance and take corrective action with the team to ensure set targets and KPIs are achieved, ensure all the activations are done using DST (Dealer Smart Tool) and that no external applications are installed in the Ooredoo owned DST.Use channel effectively to gather market & competitor intelligence and propose adjustment to the channel strategy to counter competition.Ensure that the electronic channels are well positioned and promoted within dealer channel to ensure customers migrate from traditional channels to e-channels.Reporting
Prepare Weekly Sales reports and ensure that areas of improvement are tackled swiftlyMonitor Performance of the team and ensure that targets are metLead the preparation of new reporting systems and ensure project is implemented.Leadership
Manage, motivate and develop the Dealer Support Team (team of Account / Area Managers and their reportees- Merchandisers) to ensure sales target achievement and channel profitabilitySet timely KPIs for Account / Area Managers and monitor their achievement periodically.Conduct periodical ie : monthly & quarterly business reviews with the team and agree on action plans.Complete accurate, objective and fact-based performance appraisals for all direct reports on time and ensure all have development plans in place which are executed to drive the highest level of performance across the teamEnsure the team uses Redonline Device (Hand Held Terminal) for all their in market activity reporting, closely track team efficiency through Redonline.Conduct classroom training & coaching to the Dealer Support Team in order to further develop their skillsConduct market visits with the staff with the objective of identifying the development opportunities.Skills Required

You should a minmum of
8+ years of experience in sales of which 4 were spent in leading a sales team
Extensive knowledge in telecom productsExtensive knowledge in product development (telecom)Experience in handling franchisesBachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Admin or any related fieldAdditional Information
