Job descriptionInterpret architectural drawings and electrical plans brought in by clients to suggest appropriate lighting layouts. Perform basic lighting calculations and simulations for projects. Follow up on open quotations and leads generated through showroom visits. Experience : Minimum 4 + years of experience in lighting sales. Technical & Soft Skills : Strong communication, negotiation skills, and a solid technical understanding of lighting products. Track Record : Proven track record in proposal preparation and MAS approval follow-ups. Education : minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Software : Proficiency in lighting design software and AutoCad.
Key Responsibilities
1. Showroom Sales & Customer Service
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing expert technical advice on lighting.
- Understand customer requirements (residential or commercial) and recommend suitable solutions.
- Manage the entire sales process from product selection and quotation to invoicing and delivery coordination.
- Achieve and exceed monthly showroom sales targets and KPIs.
