Scope of Work

I will fully embrace and safeguard the overall Wellness philosophy, concepts and programs such as Sleep with Six Senses. I will ensure that all wellness brand initiatives are fully embraced, and I will participate regularly in our Mission Wellness activities. All aspects of these wellness initiatives will be adopted and implemented throughout the spa operations.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role :

• Organize and perform treatments as per Six Senses brand standards.
• Ensure treatment rooms always have enough supplies as per brand standards.
• Ensure treatment rooms are set up as per brand standards.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times.
• Oversee cleanliness and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
• Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments accordingly.
• Drive spa retail sales as per guests’ requirements.
• Carry out when required stock count, both retail and professional stock, monitor usage of products.
• Lead and motivate all therapists to a level of service which exceeds all guests’ expectations by facilitating teamwork and ensuring all treatments are performed in a consistent manner and in the time allocated.
• Provide departmental orientation to newly recruited Hosts.
• Assist Spa Reception whenever needed.
• Ensure hosts perform opening and closing according to Six Senses Spas standards.
• Check and set up daily operations of the Spa according to Six Senses Spas standards.
• Provide all relevant training reports to the spa and home office.
• Carry out monthly training with Spa Team following the individual training plan for each Host as well as other training needs outlined on the training calendar.
• Appraise all therapists’ therapy skills in conjunction with Asst. Spa Manager and Spa Manager.
• Regularly update knowledge and skills in massage / beauty therapies.
• Upsell all fitness, spa and wellness activities.
• Take an active role in the leadership of the spa team.
• Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor / management. Qualification : To execute the position of Head Spa Therapist & Departmental Trainer, I have the required formal qualifications, technical skills and at least three years experience in the same or similar role in luxury spas and resorts. I have certification or broad knowledge in anatomy and physiology, massage therapy and beauty therapy.

I am a personally involved leader with excellent organizational skills. In terms of spa management, I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer. I possess exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a multi-cultural team.

Technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Windows package– Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of spa practices regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures.

I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
