Overview
Waiter / Waitress - The Steward / Waitress setting in Dreamland Barr Al Jissah is more than the regular responsibilities of greeting and serving visitors, while delighting guests by creating an unforgettable dining experience in the Food & Drink outlet in line with Paradise Requirements.
Responsibilities
- Have a solid understanding of the food selection and how each meal is prepared.
- Suggest menu options to visitors.
- Take orders and serve with care and attention to guests.
- Ensure the restaurant is prepared for service.
- Coordinate with the Culinary team to ensure timely service to guests.
- Ensure invoicing is done correctly and posted accordingly.
- Comply with Shangri-La Food Safety and Security Processes and Procedures.
- Help fellow coworkers in the success of the F&B outlet.
- Assist the manager in ensuring smooth dish procedures.
- Display fantastic conversational skills for engaging with visitors.
Qualifications
Solid English skills.Positive mindset and willingness to learn.Hotel school degree or diploma would be an added advantage.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a waiter / waitress in a 5-star hotel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
