Overview

Waiter / Waitress - The Steward / Waitress setting in Dreamland Barr Al Jissah is more than the regular responsibilities of greeting and serving visitors, while delighting guests by creating an unforgettable dining experience in the Food & Drink outlet in line with Paradise Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Have a solid understanding of the food selection and how each meal is prepared.
• Suggest menu options to visitors.
• Take orders and serve with care and attention to guests.
• Ensure the restaurant is prepared for service.
• Coordinate with the Culinary team to ensure timely service to guests.
• Ensure invoicing is done correctly and posted accordingly.
• Comply with Shangri-La Food Safety and Security Processes and Procedures.
• Help fellow coworkers in the success of the F&B outlet.
• Assist the manager in ensuring smooth dish procedures.
• Display fantastic conversational skills for engaging with visitors.
