The Associate Solutions Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation, customization, and maintenance of PI Data historian solutions. This role involves creating reports and dashboards, integrating PI Data with business intelligence platforms, and delivering customer-facing training and support. The Associate Consultant works under the guidance of senior technical staff and directly supports project execution, pre-sales, and post-implementation activities.
Project Implementation & Technical Delivery :
- Installation and Configuration any PI Product needed.
- Develop Excel-based reports using data from Historian.
- Design process graphics using PI Vision or similar tools.
- Create web-based reports using tools like Power BI, PI Vision, and others.
- Assist in the integration of historian systems with business intelligence tools and big data platforms.
- Support the development of customized software applications built on top of Historian.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Assist in creating and updating technical documentation aligned with internal and client standards.
- Conduct user and administrator training at customer sites or remotely.
Client Engagement & Support :
Provide on-call and remote troubleshooting support to customers.Conduct system maintenance visits and assist in remote diagnostics.Act as a resident support engineer at customer sites if required.Participate in EMI solution demos during client site visits and expos.Attend pre-sales technical clarification meetings to provide support and answer client queries.Solution Engineering & Development :
Collaborate in engineering and configuring dashboards using PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, HTML5, and other relative web technologies.Work with technologies such as PI-SDK, PI Web API, PI AF SDK, VB.Net, C#, Microsoft .NET, and PI OLEDB, PI Vision Extensibility.Support data analytics and machine learning integration using OSIsoft PI suite, Python, R, or other platforms.Assist in developing solutions based on PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Notifications, PI Analysis, and Performance Equations.

Required Qualifications & Skills :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Communication Engineers, Software Engineers or ITExperience : Minimum 6 years of hands-on work experience with industrial software projects.Certifications : Minimum of 3 technical certifications (e.g., OSIsoft PI, Microsoft, AVEVA).Project Work : Involvement in at least 15 full-cycle technical implementation projects.Technical Competencies :
Proficiency in Microsoft .NET and C# using Visual Studio.Strong backend and frontend development experience.Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) and Windows Server (2012+).Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Familiarity with MVC architecture is a plus.Understanding of web application architecture, including session management and security best practices.Soft Skills & Work Ethic :
