Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of HVAC Technician in Oman. We are seeking skilled and motivated HVAC professionals with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of air-conditioning systems. Candidates must have experience working with central air-conditioning systems and possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC components. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and repair HVAC and air-conditioning equipment.
  
• Diagnose HVAC faults independently and carry out appropriate corrective actions.
  
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on split, window, package, and central AC systems.
  
• Inspect and troubleshoot compressors, motors, thermostats, and associated components.
  
• Maintain central air-conditioning systems to ensure reliable operation and cooling performance.
  
• Test HVAC equipment after servicing or repair to verify proper operation.
  
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement.
  
• Follow applicable safety procedures while carrying out HVAC installation and maintenance work.
  

Required Skills

1. Central AC Systems: Hands-on experience with central air-conditioning systems is mandatory.
   
2. HVAC Troubleshooting: Ability to independently diagnose HVAC faults and determine corrective action.
   
3. HVAC Installation & Maintenance: Practical experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment.
   
4. AC System Knowledge: Knowledge of split, window, package, and central AC systems.
   
5. HVAC Components: Technical knowledge of compressors, motors, thermostats, and control systems.
   

Preferred Skills

• Preventive and breakdown maintenance capability.
  
• Strong understanding of refrigeration and air-conditioning principles.
  
• Ability to work independently on HVAC fault diagnosis and repair.

Requirements
Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP systems, and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
