Job Overview
As an Accountant at Al Haditha Energy, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting practices. This position involves handling daily accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with ERP system implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to finance and accounting policies in all activities
- Process transactions by recording revenue and expenses, and preparing payments and receipts within the ERP system
- Perform reconciliation of accounts and ensure timely record entries
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Support audits by maintaining organized documentation and providing required information
- Contribute to ongoing policy improvements for finance and accounting procedures
- Manage fixed assets records, including depreciation runs
- Support tax and VAT compliance and record-keeping
- Collaborate with the finance team and assist during ERP system setup and training
Principal Accountabilities
- Maintain high accuracy in financial data recording and reporting
- Prepare documentation for audit readiness and compliance
- Provide support during ERP implementation phases
- Ensure tasks are completed within deadlines and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy sector

- Clear and professional communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of accounting software, tax regulations, and ERP systems
