Required - Issuance of Credit card from HPS – PowerCard system and experienced in data migration testing.

Experience : Minium 7+ years of experience is required.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, specializing in HPS power credit card testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing payment processing systems, a strong understanding of credit card transaction flows, and the ability to identify and resolve issues to ensure the highest level of reliability and performance for our payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Execution :

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for credit card processing systems.

Ensure thorough testing of payment processing features, including transaction handling, security protocols, and integration points.

Ensure that User Acceptance Tests are carried out in a test environment to verify that the product developed meets the business expectations, reporting any service failure or shortcomings with IT / Vendors so that they can determine the appropriate enhancement and continue testing until the product / service meets the required functional specifications.

Ensure planned testing involving end users wherever applicable and sign off the user acceptance test results after consulting and obtaining approval from Manager-Projects.

Ensure adherence to Payment Associations / Central Bank guidelines and other procedures impacting the product / product features.

Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned by Manager-Projects. Provide support services to other departments as and when necessary.

Issue Identification and Resolution :

Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.

Collaborate with development and support teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.

Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved.

Collaboration and Support :

Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing objectives.

Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by end-users.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to payment processing and QA testing.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in QA testing, particularly with credit card processing systems and payment gateways.

Strong understanding of HPS power solutions, payment industry standards (PCI-DSS), and transaction processing workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
