Archimedes Marine Engineering & Contracting LLC is a joint venture between Khimji Ramdas LLC-Oman and Archimedes SA-Greece, established in the Sultanate of Oman. Combining local knowledge and international expertise, the company aims to support marine industry development and economic growth within Oman. Focus areas include infrastructure and construction of commercial ports, fishery harbours, marina construction, coastal protection construction, sea water intake systems for desalination plants, and berthing facilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Engineer - Civil at Archimedes Marine Engineering & Contracting LLC, located in Muscat. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, conducting analytical assessments, ensuring clear communication, and handling requests for quotation (RFQ). Day-to-day tasks involve supplier management, procurement processes, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) skills
• Experience with managing Purchase Orders and procurement processes
• Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Previous experience in the marine or construction industry is a plus
• Ability to work well in an on-site environment in Muscat
