Junior Accountant

Overview

Job Title : Junior Accountant

Location : Oman

Type : Full-time

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain attendance records, monitor and manage cash flow

Monitor and track daily gold rate changes (multiple times daily, including Fridays).

Manage payments, bookings, and reconciliations, and oversee and reconcile petty cash transactions

Liaise with the software and IT team to resolve technical issues related to accounts

Manage purchase entries and reconciliation, and bank-related responsibilities when required.

Provide support to the accounts team , including invoice-related tasks and other responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in the Jewellery field is mandatory

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
