Technical Lead- Digital Channel (Mobile Banking)
We have an urgent requirement for Technical Lead- Digital Channel (Mobile Banking) for our banking client in Oman.
Overview
The Technical Lead - Digital Channels is responsible for the projects and changes in Digital Channels Applications of the Bank. The applications referenced here consist of the following and any other new systems the bank may implement for the business : Mobile Banking Engagement Layer (UI / UX or Presentation layer) and Mobile Banking Digital Spine (Micro-service layer).
Responsibilities
- Technically lead projects and changes of digital channel applications.
- Support SIT, UAT, Security Testing and Performance testing during project or change phases.
- Lead daily scrum calls and facilitate agile ceremonies to ensure the team stays aligned and project milestones are met.
- Evaluate vendor deliverables for quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Understand and address business requirements to maximize IT investments; prepare test strategies for SIT, UAT, Security and Performance testing.
- Produce and maintain architecture and technical documentation; ensure banking architectural standards are followed.
- Own end-to-end test or production implementation support for digital channels projects and changes.
- Maintain documentation, policies and procedures related to development projects, change control, access and security.
- Lead cross-team collaboration within IT and with external vendors; ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Risk and Audit standards; participate in continuous improvement of support processes.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in information technology with experience in Digital Channels Applications management.Experience in mobile banking application implementation; mobile app experience with iOS, Android & HarmonyOS.Good exposure to UI / UX development technologies like Flutter & React Native.Proficient in Java / J2EE, SQL, Microservices, and integration technologies (SOAP / REST / MQ / TCP-IP).Expertise in containerization technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and On-Prem environments.Experience with surround system integration (core banking, card systems, middleware, etc.).Database knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL Server & MySQL; strong SQL / PL-SQL skills.Experience with Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies; familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD).Knowledge of data migration, application / server / infrastructure upgrades where applicable.Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Attributes
