Petroleum Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Petroleum Engineer to join our digitalization initiative for hydraulic fracturing optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with our AI / ML and field operations teams to design, validate, and enhance frac strategies using intelligent decision-support tools.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze well logs, frac design parameters, and production data to inform ML-driven optimization.

Contribute to the development of engineering models and constraints integrated into the iHFD AI platform.

Support real-time monitoring of frac jobs via edge-enabled systems.

Participate in UAT, data validation, and interpretation of model results.

Liaise with field, reservoir, and IT teams to align subsurface and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in completions, stimulation, or frac operations, preferably in tight gas or unconventional reservoirs.
• Strong understanding of fracture modeling (e.g., GOHFER, FracPro, or similar).
• Familiarity with Techlog, OFM, Petrel, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of AI / ML in oilfield operations is a plus.
