About the Company

Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country's crude oil production and natural gas supply.

Purpose of the Job

To provide security support to asset teams at the interior locations. Report security incidents to ROP and North / South security Lead (UIC / 3F / 3M); take appropriate action against reported security incidents and assist in investigation when required. Collect, analyse information pertaining to security threats and propose appropriate mitigation measures to assets.

Education & Experience

• High National Diploma or equivalent qualification level.
• Minimum 3 to 6 years working experience in a security environment.
• A good all-round knowledge of National Laws and Royal Oman Police Rules and Regulations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak Arabic and English.
• Able to prepare summary reports, present spreadsheets and viewgraphs.
• Prior work in oil and gas is an added advantage.
