Field QA / QC Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance of works with applicable codes, standards and Project specifications through suitable examinations and testing.
• Implement quality control activities on Site in line with the established quality control program.
• Ensure implementation of the Contracts Quality Plans.
• Review and implement field inspection and testing procedures and plans.
• Review and implement the overall inspection and testing schedule based on the construction schedule.
• Keeping close liaison with Company’s representative(s) with regard to field inspection and test schedules.
• Review and supervise the inspection & test versus the ITP plan requirements and coordination with construction management to this end.
• Ensuring that records and reporting are submitted by Contractors Quality team for all inspection and testing activities.
• Coordinating with external inspection agencies when required.
• Identifying and reporting quality system problems to Company.
• Reviewing inspection and testing records to ensure any actions are carried out as required.
• Authorizing inspection and test reports to be submitted to the Company.
• Raising and managing closure of Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Corrective Action Request (CAR), and Performance and Accountability Report (PAR).
• Ensuring that Project quality records and document deliverables are progressively compiled, finalized, and included into the final Project handover records.
