We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Optoelectronic Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of advanced Lidar and photonic systems. This role requires cross-functional expertise in optics, electronics, and embedded systems to deliver high-performance, reliable sensor platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define optoelectronic system architectures including photodetectors, lasers, drivers, and signal chains.
- Select and evaluate optical components for system integration.
- Collaborate with ASIC, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure overall system performance.
- Lead integration of optical subsystems with electronics, including PCB-level optomechanical alignment.
- Develop and execute test plans for optical and electrical characterization (e.g., responsivity, SNR, jitter).
- Use lab tools (oscilloscopes, optical power meters, spectrum analyzers) for validation and debug.
- Perform system-level simulations of optical alignment, power budgets, and signal behavior.
- Utilize tools such as Zemax, MATLAB, and COMSOL to optimize system design.
- Generate interface specifications, performance reports, and test procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including optical design, IC engineering, packaging, and test.
