Commis ( Arabic)

Scope of Work

: As Commis, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses Zighy Bay to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them, plus our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness. In this role, I will support the Demi / Chef de Partie in the smooth running of the Kitchen department.

My duties include but is not limited to :

• Assuming 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
• Work in any section of the kitchen when necessary, due to business levels
• Assist in the control of the outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled
• Ensure that working area is of exemplary clean nature.
• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
• Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor / management. Qualification : To execute the position of Commis, I have the required formal qualifications in Culinary Production, technical skills and at least three years experience in the same or similar role in luxury hotels and resorts.

I possess exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a multi-cultural team.

I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
