Overview

Supervise and manage the bread production section, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency. Develop and innovate new bread recipes in line with French baking traditions and seasonal trends. Oversee the preparation of a variety of breads including sourdough, baguettes, brioche, and other breads. Monitor dough fermentation, proofing, and baking to achieve optimal flavor and texture.

Position and Details

Position Title : Jr Sous Chef – Bread / Pastry

Employment Type : Full Time

Salary : up to 800 OMR all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Benefits : shared accommodation, transportation, duty meals

Job Location : Muscat, Oman

Qualifications

  • Open to Asian nationals
  • Male, 40 years old and below
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in artisan bread baking, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or sous chef role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills and must have knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP.
