Payment System Consultant Debit Card Systems with Postilion Switch

Overview

Senior-Payment System Consultant Debit Card Systems with Postilion Switch experience is required for one of our banking clients in Oman. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong background in payment systems, Postilion Switch, and banking domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage payment systems initiatives including Debit Card, ATM, and related components within the Postilion Switch environment.
• Handle projects, change requests (CRs), and provide production support on the test system for Debit Card systems.
• Evaluate existing and new Debit Card and ATM Acquiring initiatives to ensure they meet bank requirements without impacting system performance; provide recommendations.
• Perform requirement configurations and developments on debit card applications using Postilion Switch.
• Provide requirements support for regression testing, implementation support, and technical certifications with Visa, MasterCard, and CBO where applicable.
• Act as technical lead for assigned projects; participate in projects and CRs with analysis and implementation recommendations.
• Support performance testing, ISO testing, and other internal / external testing for the debit card system including ATM acquiring.
• Contribute to business requirements and design phases of projects and CRs.
• Ensure hands-on experience with Postilion application; perform configurational changes and support ongoing projects impacting Postilion.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures, SLAs, and KPIs; oversee incident management, problem resolution, and change management processes.
• Coordinate with development teams, vendors, and business units for system upgrades and maintenance.
• Act as escalation point for payment system incidents; ensure root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain root cause analyses to minimize business impact on projects and CRs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and identify opportunities for IT process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships; ensure SLAs are met and align support activities with organizational goals.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on system performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.
• Oversee audit and compliance management; ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and relevant banking regulations; maintain documentation of controls and procedures; coordinate audit responses and remediation.
