Maintenance Superintendent (Oman)

الوصف الوظيفيHigh school diploma or equivalent A total commitment to working safely and participating in all HSE programs. English language skills, both written and verbal. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations Minimum of 10 years experience with drilling equipment maintenance, repair, and overhaul Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience. Two or four year technical degree Industry and / or regulatory courses and training
Description
JOB Summary
Provides management of ongoing maintenance activities for major land drilling contractor. Requires regular travel as operations dictate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement Nabors computerized maintenance system.
- Integrate consistent work record updates on each critical asset equipment file.
- Monitor repair vendor inspections and recommendations and audits.
- Minimize downtime through maintenance systems development and deployment.
- Review and recommend inventory levels of all spare parts and set up checklists for critical and non-critical parts.
- Coordinate and perform rig inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance systems, review and enhancements.
- Address concerns and provide viable solutions and alternatives for equipment issues.
- Train personnel on proper equipment, operation and maintenance.
- Special projects as required.
