Role Overview

Novarc is a venture capital firm investing in the technologies, founders, and markets shaping the next era of innovation. We back high‑potential companies across multiple sectors, focusing on scalable models, strong fundamentals, and long‑term value creation. We partner with ambitious founders to build the platforms that will define the future.

This is a junior / early‑career role with direct mentorship from the founder and full exposure to the venture capital lifecycle. You will help source, analyze, and execute investments across multiple sectors, working closely with the founding team to build Novarc’s investment engine.

This role is designed for sharp, ambitious talent who want to develop into full‑stack investors.

What you’ll do

Sourcing & Market Research

  • Identify promising startups, founders, and emerging market themes.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic deal pipeline across local and global markets.
  • Conduct market research to map industries, competitors, and sector trends.

Investment Analysis & Diligence

  • Perform financial modeling, valuations, and scenario analysis.
  • Support due diligence across commercial, operational, financial, and strategic areas.
  • Evaluate founder quality, business models, and execution plans.

    • Investment Process & IC Support

  • Prepare clear investment memos, insights, and recommendations for decision‑making.
  • Assist in negotiating term sheets and coordinating legal processes.
  • Develop dashboards to track portfolio performance and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with portfolio founders on operational, analytical, or strategic needs.
  • Contribute to research reports and thought leadership that guide Novarc’s strategy.
  • Support preparation of materials for investors, partners, and internal committees.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to independently develop insights and communicate them clearly.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • CFA progression is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with technology, innovation, or emerging markets is a plus.
